Summer Songs

What a great time of year......to learn from nature about the songs of the summer. I have so enjoyed hearing the many songs of the birds in my back yard. They seem to have a never ending sense of joy and fullfillment as they communicate with one another. I wish I could say the same thing about my summer songs. The birds are are a great example of why music lifts the soul and makes room for possibilities. I feel the hope, joy and even love in the songs of the birds in my northwest Ohio yard. I think I'll need to use my IPOD to record some of the tunes they share, so that I will remenber them in the middle of the cold Ohio winter. In the meantime, I'll be walking with my puppy and enjoying the SONGS OF SUMMER!
